The operation leads, on the one hand, to the creation of an urban corridor with buildings of historical and architectural interest which can be found along Paseo de San José and its surroundings, and which connect with the historical centre of Vegueta. This is achieved by installing signage that identifies these spots, as well as totems and information panels that are attractive for visitors.

On the other hand, the action focuses on the redevelopment of the area with the main historical buildings, from Calle Sor Jesús street, next to the former San Martín Hospital and Paseo de San José, to Calle Sor Brígida Castelló street. The redevelopment consists of widening pavements for pedestrians, planting new trees and renewing services. Special attention is given to accessibility and the removal of architectural obstacles.
