Line 4: Optimising waste collection services
Development of a web application for the request of scheduled collection and management of the Municipal Cleaning Service
This project seeks to obtain an optimization of garbage collection services thanks to the implementation of ICT as a tool for improving the application process and management of the junk collection service, decongesting the current system for receiving requests.
Budget: 46.271,52 €
As the garbage collection service currently works, there is ample range of improvement to optimize it.
It must be considered that, currently, the service works with a regular schedule that sometimes arrives earlier than necessary and, in others, arrives later than it should.
Through this operation it will be possible to adjust and schedule the service so that the trucks pass when the container needs it. This is produced thanks to the volumetric sensors that report the filling status of each container in real time.
