Streamlining and improvement of payment methods on public transport

Software will be developed to enable the current virtual ticket validation machine –  available on smartphones – to validate the transport company’s own contactless tickets. This would eliminate one of the on-bus machines and streamline the access to buses (or ‘guaguas’, as they are called in the region).

There are currently 3 ticket validation machines, one of which will be dispensed with thanks to this operation. Therefore, operations would be easier, and the payment process would be streamlined. Additionally, all the associated maintenance will be less hassle for the operator.

Budget: €165,000.00

Implementation and updating of municipal bus card charging points

With the development of this action, the objective of expediting payment on municipal buses is pursued.

To this end, to the current methods for activating online credit recharges, the possibility of being able to do so on totem poles (posts) installed at bus stops spread throughout different parts of the municipality will be added.
